Jacqueline and Joseph began their Honeymoon journey in style jetting off to Dubai with multi award-winning Emirates and on arrival where immediately mesmerised by the glitz and glamour of one of the world’s most exciting destinations. The Honeymooners made the most of their time in Dubai by ticking lots of their ‘bucket list’; including a trip to Aquaventure Waterpark in Atlantis The Palm, the best Water Park in Dubai, where they swam with Dolphins and enjoyed a cruise upon the serene waters of the Arabian Sea, and took in Dubai’s famous landmarks. Jacqueline said, “It was fantastic. The hotel was so luxurious and modern, another level of hospitality and service.”

A highlight of their time in Dubai was taking in the sunset and infamous skyline from Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world measuring 2,717 feet! Dubai is renowned for its vast shopping malls and Jacqueline and Joseph where overwhelmed by the choice at the record-breaking Dubai Mall featuring 1,200 shops as well as Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo.

An Island Paradise
After the buzz of Dubai, The Maldives provides the ultimate backdrop for newlyweds to relax and recover after their wedding. Regularly voted one of the world’s most idyllic beach destinations, the Maldives is an island paradise like no other where Jacqueline and Joseph enjoyed a seven night stay at the ultra-luxurious Kuredu Island Resort. Arriving by seaplane the couple experienced a bird’s eye view of the ‘postcard perfect’ white sandy beaches and clear blue ocean waters that awaited them.

From the moment they arrived, the newlyweds enjoyed “another level of luxury and service” which surpassed all their expectations and gave their honeymoon an added “wow-factor.” “We will always remember the welcome we received when we arrived, with personalised keepsake T-Shirts, and live music; the staff’s attention to detail and level of service was something else.”

The expansive beach resort also featured an impressive array of dining options including exquisite dining at The Beach, flavours of the orient at the Far East and Mediterranean delights cooked to perfection at Franco’s. A local favourite back at home Kurdeu’s ‘Franco’s was also a popular choice for Jacqueline and Joseph. “The Maldives was sheer luxury, and I would highly recommend it as a Honeymoon destination.” Jacqueline smiled. “The resort was just amazing and it had everything that you could ever want. Also, the people and staff were so friendly and welcoming.”

During their stay, Jacqueline and Joseph discovered The Maldives infamous ‘underwater world ‘with a snorkelling lesson where they saw abundance of marine life. They enjoyed the Resort’s programme of evening entertainment which included an ‘Indonesian Night’, ‘Movie Night Under The Stars’ and ‘Locals Night’ which featured.

Other highlights for Jacqueline and Joseph during their time in The Maldives included their luxurious Spa Treatments Duniye Spa, where the treatment rooms feature an ocean view flooring; sipping on champagne on the outside deck, overlooking the ocean and participating in the water activities at the Resort including Kayaking, Windsurfing and Paddle boarding. “They were the perfect way to experience crystal blue waters ourselves,” Jacqueline said. “Staying in an all-inclusive resort was ideal as we felt we could completely relax. This meant that we could enjoy our Honeymoon.”
