Recently three of our senior travel consultants were lucky enough to get a visit around Royal Caribbean’s Brilliance of the Seas while it was docked in Belfast. Rosie, Claire and Amanda were able to first hand experience cruise life on-board this amazing ship.
MS Brilliance of the Seas is a cruise ship belonging to the Royal Caribbean’s Radiance class. Along with her sister ships – Radiance of the Seas, Serenade of the Seas and Jewel of the Seas, they are the most beautifully designed of the fleet. With the exterior wrapped in glass they are the ultimate floating destination with perfect panoramic views from every direction.
Carrying 2,112 passengers she is one of the smaller, more intimate ships in the fleet. For those wanting to relax, you can enjoy stunning sea views through floor to ceiling windows in one of the elegant venues, or, for the ultimate relaxation head to the adult-only solarium area or the spa.
For those seeker more adventure, head up to the rock climbing wall and push your adrenalin to the limit by soaring high above ocean level. The sports court, fitness centre, self-leveling pool tables and mini golf are other explorations to test your adventure skills on-board!
For the kids, the Adventure Ocean youth club is any child’s dream and will guarantee hours of fun with a range of activities, games and parties designed specifically for them.
Rooms on Brilliance of the Seas
After days of activities or simply catching some sun by the pool, you will want to head back to a comfortable stateroom, and rest assure Brilliance of the Seas has a range of accommodation to suit everyone’s styles and budget.

During her refurbishment in 2013 all staterooms were upgraded with new features and had an extensive refresh including brand new carpets, curtains, new bathrooms and flat-screen televisions.
Cuisine
The cuisine and dining onboard Brilliance of the Seas offers the high standards that you would expect from Royal Caribbean. The elegant main dining room will offer a traditional cruise dinner experience, with a different menu every night and exceptional service. Alternately, the Windjammer buffet restaurant will offer a more casual style with a range of different foods from salad bars to make your own pizza. When Brilliance of the Seas was refurbished in 2013, she gained a selection of new dining venues including the luxurious Chef’s Table, a Mexican restaurant and Royal Caribbean’s latest Italian venue, Giovanni’s Table.
With Broadway style performances, musicals and a range of guest entertainers, this is the place for fun-filled evenings. During various evenings throughout the cruise, the Atrium will turn into a magical spectacular of air-aerobic performers that will fly, spin and showcase a range of jaw-dropping tricks. There is also a great selection of bars and lounges on-board, offering everything from karaoke bars, piano bars and quiet lounges to socialise with new friends.
