Miles of beaches, big-name cities, world-class theme parks – holidays to Spain give you a to-do list as long as a tapas menu.
Mainland Spain
Holidays to mainland Spain close in on and around the Costas. Up north in Catalonia, you’ll find the asperous Costa Brava and Costa Dorada. Further down the coast are the Costa Blanca’s white-sand beaches. And winding round Spain’s southern edge are the sun-blissed regions of Costa de Almeria, Costa del Sol and Costa de la Luz.
Costa Dorada
Costa Dorada means ‘Golden Coast’ in Spanish, which is perfectly suited to a coastline laced with golden sandy beaches from one end to the other. One of the shortest flights to the sun; only 2 hrs 20 mins flight from Belfast or Dublin with a 15-minute transfer to the main resort of Salou.
Running south from Barcelona, the Costa Dorada enjoys 300 days of sunshine a year, and offers every type of resort you could imagine. With Blue Flag beaches, theme parks, including PortAventura World, one of Europe’s most iconic theme parks; home to up to 40 exciting rides and a great entertainment programme with around 15 daily shows to enjoy within the parks; water parks, fantastic night life and Roman ruins, this destination is the perfect place to explore this Summer.
Flight options include a daily service from Dublin and up to four times weekly from Belfast.
Costa Del Sol
Costa del Sol is an excellent short break destination, ideal for summer and winter breaks, with daily flights from both Dublin and Belfast Airport and weekly flights from Knock and a short 20-minute transfer to the main resorts of Torremolinos, Fuengirola and Benalmadena.
The Costa del Sol is the original home of the sun, sea, sand and sangria holiday. Miles of golden sandy beaches, glitzy towns, historical villages and lively theme parks are just a few of the things Spain’s Sunshine Coast has to offer. With approximately 320 days of sun every year, the Costa Del Sol is the ideal Summer holiday destination!
Spanish charm
Flamenco dancers in polka dots, Moorish castles standing proud, matadors with sweat on their brows – Spain conjures up millions of different images. The country has been a favourite with British holidaymakers for years, thanks to its fantastic beaches, lovely climate and the fact it’s just a short hop from home soil.
