Gdansk
As one of Poland’s most beautiful cities, Gdansk, has played its fair share of major roles in the country’s history, especially in the 20th-century. The Old Town was painstakingly reconstructed after being levelled in World War II, and showcases the 14th-century Town Hall houses and the city’s historical museum. Like a mini-state all to itself, Gdańsk has a unique feel that sets it apart from the other cities in Poland.
Carefree Tip – Bus remains the most popular form of public transport. You can easily reach any area of the city by using a tram. A ticket for one ride will cost you approximately 1 euro. In order to save on travelling costs you can also purchase special ticket passes.
Two of our travel consultants have been to this beautiful city – Rosie & Claire – drop either of them a line to find out their personal opinion of Gdansk. Check out our blog for Rosie’s insight on Gdansk!
